Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers for contractors and project teams about how we staff electrical and skilled-trades crews.

For Contractors

What does Hired Resources do? We’re a skilled trades staffing and labor leasing company. We recruit, employ, and deploy electricians and other tradespeople to construction projects, with weekly payroll, workers’ comp, and lodging handled.

Do you specialize in data centers? Yes. Data center and mission-critical construction is our primary focus, and electrical is our core trade. We’ve supplied 70+ electricians to a single hyperscale AI campus and support active data center builds across the Upper Midwest.

Where do you work? We work across the United States, with select projects in Canada. We draw on a nationwide talent pool, so we can staff projects where local labor is limited.

Can you help with out-of-state electrical licensing? Yes. We assist with electrical license reciprocity across states when it’s needed.

Do you handle lodging? Yes. We source accommodations for traveling crews and can fully manage lodging for the project.

What schedules do your crews work? Rotation (turnaround) schedules or full-time schedules, whichever your project needs.

How quickly can you mobilize? We understand staffing needs are urgent, and we work well under that pressure. Our teams can assemble large-scale crews within a couple of weeks. Contact us with your start date and we’ll build a ramp plan around it.

Who employs the workers? Hired Resources does. We run weekly payroll and handle workers’ comp, and you receive one invoice.

What if a worker isn’t a good fit? Let your project lead know and we’ll replace them quickly.

Can you staff union or prevailing-wage projects? We staff prevailing wage projects, including submitting certified payroll, and we have deep experience doing it. We’ve also partnered with unions to supplement their crews when their own resources are thin.
